An online yoga and contemplation mini retreat celebrating the sacred role of women as witnesses and storytellers— to the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus, and to the living presence of Christ unfolding in our own lives today.
Women as Witness
🌿 What if the story of resurrection began not with proclamation—but with presence?
🌿 What if the first invitation of Easter was simply this: to see, to listen, and to bear witness?
As the light of Easter lingers and the story of resurrection continues to unfold, we’ll gather for a Women as Witness Virtual Mini Retreat—a gentle and meaningful space to step into the garden story and remember the sacred role women carry as witnesses and storytellers.
We’ll begin by grounding ourselves in the resurrection story, reflecting on how women were the first to arrive, to remain, and to be entrusted with the good news. From there, we’ll move into a gentle, Christ-centered yoga practice—an embodied invitation to become present, to notice what is sacred, and to open ourselves to God’s movement within us.
With bodies and hearts awakened, we’ll enter into an imaginative prayer experience centered on Mary in the garden. Together, we’ll step into that quiet morning, imagining the searching, the longing, and the moment of recognition—listening for the voice of Jesus who still calls each of us by name.
We’ll close our time with gentle reflection and shared space, honoring the stories we carry and the ways we are invited to notice, remember, and share what we have seen of God’s presence in our lives.
This virtual mini retreat is a time to:
🌿 Pause and enter the resurrection story in a personal and embodied way
🧘♀️ Experience gentle yoga as a practice of presence and witnessing
🌅 Listen for the voice of Jesus speaking your name with love
💬 Reflect and share in a supportive community of women who are learning to carry the sacred stories entrusted to them
“Jesus said to her, “Mary.” She turned toward him and cried out… “Rabboni!” Jesus said, “Go to my brothers and tell them…” Mary Magdalene went to the disciples with the news: “I have seen the Lord.”
— John 20:16–18

This Easter season, discover witnessing as more:
As presence and devotion.
As listening and remembering.
As the sacred courage to share the stories we carry.
Like Mary in the garden, we are invited to hear our name spoken— and to bear witness to resurrection in the world.
Meet Your Guides
We’re Kimee and Aelea— two kindred spirits who believe that God meets us in the sacred ordinary and the wild sanctuary of right now lives. Together, we bring years of experience in yoga, spiritual formation, ministry, and soul care, along with a shared desire to create spaces of depth, gentleness, beauty and delight. Put simply, we are space holders for receiving and extending God’s love out into the world.
Our retreats are born from our friendship, our love of yoga and contemplative practices, and our desire to invite others into the kind of presence that heals and holds.
